International Zoological Congress of “Grigore Antipa” Museum

The 11th International Zoological Congress of “Grigore Antipa” Museum (CZGA 2022) will be held exclusively online, between December 5-7, 2022.

The theme of this year’s congress is Leveraging Zoological Collections.

We want to discuss how zoological collections are useful to our society, other than for biological taxonomy studies. While we will accept contributions on this classical topic, we encourage the submission of contributions showing other ways of using zoological collections (i.e. tracking population changes, monitoring environmental stressor occurrence, tracking pathogen introduction, tracking invasive species introduction etc.). The examples given are by no mean exhaustive and you can contribute any work that supports the intended topic of the congress.

The participation to this edition is free of charge.

***NEW ***
Due to the last minute withdrawal of some participants, we decided to reschedule the congress for only Tuesday, December 6th, and Wednesday, December 7th.

We wish to remind you that in order to assist to the CZGA 2022 presentations, you need to fill up the online registration form available here. You can register until 11:00 AM on Monday, December 5th.

Each participant that filled in the online registration form will receive an email with details for accessing the online platform dedicated to CZGA 2022.
